The Book

COMING SOON…

An allegorical unicorn fairy adventure written to inspire readers to follow their own star and let their light shine.  A meaningful story for sensitive, imaginative or neurodiverse children. For ages 6-10.

Every unicorn knows what it’s like to be different. The story follows Hope an unlikely hero, shunned by the beautiful circus horses because of his appearance and how, by following his star of direction, a cosmic gift, discovers what it takes to connect with his powerful inner self-belief, and when he finds this on the inside his star glows on the outside. When nothing is sure, believe in possibility! Together with his feisty fairy friend Bella (a Bluebell Fairy whom he rescues with a broken wing and wisdom bigger than her size) they embark on a challenging and sometimes dangerous mission through an enchanted forest and mysterious landscape on a quest to reunite Bella with her parents, the King and Queen of fairies.  On their way they find courage, friendship plus qualities they didn’t know they possessed.    “The magic is you the magic is me.  The more you look the more you’ll see.”  The stars play a guiding and empowering role throughout and with the revealing wisdom of the Fairy Oracle, Hope realises what it truly means to be a unicorn. This takes Hope from an outsider to a leading light for others and what he dramatically demonstrates to the beautiful circus horses and a young, unsure, unicorn named Serenity but this is only the beginning, a dragon in hiding needs help in Hopes next adventure.

Imagine & Inspire Interactive Invitation to the reader

A creative two-part interactive section designed to encourage thoughtful self-expression and spark imagination at the back of the book for children to write and draw about their own feelings and where they are also asked to write a short story about the part a dragon might play in Hope and Bella’s next adventure.
